Stupid icemaker

Adding a clogged water line to the icemaker to that list....

Running checklist of things I need to fix:

• Caulking around downstairs shower
• Exhaust hose on dryer is loose
• Storm window is out (thanks DA)
• Toilet downstairs runs constantly
• Slow drip in bathtub faucet
• Hear drip in walls when shower is running
• Slow drip in kitchen faucet if it's not set properly
• Reversed speakers on surround sound
• Hella squeaky third drawer
• Find phone jack in upstairs

First stupid post....

First post on this stupid blog. Essentially, I'm using a blog to keep track of fixes and updates I'm doing to the house I'm renting. Anything done will be done with the landlord's permission (except minor fixes) and I'll include pictures when I remember.

Today's "fix" was some drafty windows in the basement. It's been a mild winter so far but a couple of the rooms are really drafty and, because they're behind blackout curtains, we didn't immediately see why. Turns out the storm windows were open and one of the windows needs to be caulked on the inside because I can see out through a crack in the frame. Easy fixes.

Next up will be remounting an outer window that an old roommate took out to get into the house after he drunkenly locked himself out one night. That will take some more time and it'll have to be after this upcoming snow because fuck that.
